Waterscape created for the 2009 Elizabeth River Plein Air Event. Portsmouth, VA. The project goes towards funding to clean up the Elizabeth River in Virginia. This piece was created alongside the Gilmerton Bridge in South Norfolk, VA. It is an extension of the Elizabeth River.
About Michael Morgan
Michael Morgan currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA. At 40 years old, he has developed many different styles and themes and his more recent works particularly exercise abstract expressionism and portraits of famous individuals. He studied art at Hampton High School and Mount Saint Mary's University. His favorite types of art are Surrealism and Expressionism and his artwork has been accepted and included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He is also currently the member of several local art organizations with pieces showing in several galleries. Michael's primary media is pencil, pen/ink and acrylic painting.
