Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Using pen and ink, I have created several pieces involving the Abstract-Expressionist style. My favorite technique is shading and creating designs that move freely and fluently throughout the composition, whether it involves abstract or familiar images. My works are usually based on ideas and emotions of self-expression, the current world, the possible world, and the unknown. In this piece, various shading is made to create different values of light and dark to project the overall image. The emphasis is the circular space in the top left where there is hardly any shading or drawing applied. Everyone sees something different than the next person in this artwork. In some drawings, I like to just draw it out and improvise. When it�s finished, I guess you could say it�s as if the drawing is a cloud - one person might see a human figure in it, another person might see a face or simply shady lines on a piece of paper.
Michael Morgan currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA. At 40 years old, he has developed many different styles and themes and his more recent works particularly exercise abstract expressionism and portraits of famous individuals. He studied art at Hampton High School and Mount Saint Mary's University. His favorite types of art are Surrealism and Expressionism and his artwork has been accepted and included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He is also currently the member of several local art organizations with pieces showing in several galleries. Michael's primary media is pencil, pen/ink and acrylic painting.
