Michael Morgan studied art at Hampton High School in Hampton, Virginia and Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland under teachers and professors Timothy Vermeulen, Walter Nichols, Janet Rash, and Alvis Mann. Michael’s artwork has been included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He currently studies and employs the methods of Abstraction, Abstract-Expressionism, Impressionism, Surrealism, and Portrait. Aside from art he has written and recorded original music of his own, along with several local bands including the Horehound Drops and Anubis, where he holds the endeavor of a musical profession (in addition to art, of course). He exercises by running, playing music, and shooting basketball. Further into the realm of art, his current primary media is pencil, charcoal, and acrylic. He also has, and continues to explore, the uses of oil painting and pen/ink drawing. Michael Morgan is currently working on ways of selling his original art and is taking on the art of freelancing itself.
