Drawn in 2008 (factoid: title conceived way before the History Channel's "Planet Egypt" series came out), this ballpoint pen drawing was part of my "Laundromat Series" pieces because I drew it mostly during time spent waiting for my laundry to dry. Michael Morgan currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA. At 40 years old, he has developed many different styles and themes and his more recent works particularly exercise abstract expressionism and portraits of famous individuals. He studied art at Hampton High School and Mount Saint Mary's University. His favorite types of art are Surrealism and Expressionism and his artwork has been accepted and included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He is also currently the member of several local art organizations with pieces showing in several galleries. Michael's primary media is pencil, pen/ink and acrylic painting.
