The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Oil painting of floating trees atop various vintage tv sets. The idea of the piece is to make a surrealistic statement about all the saps on tv and all the sappy tv stations out there. One of the branches of the forefront tree decides to extend out and dissipate into the sky, acting as an \\\'antenna\\\' to reach the sap satellite above the orange sky.
About Michael Morgan
Michael Morgan currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA. At 40 years old, he has developed many different styles and themes and his more recent works particularly exercise abstract expressionism and portraits of famous individuals. He studied art at Hampton High School and Mount Saint Mary's University. His favorite types of art are Surrealism and Expressionism and his artwork has been accepted and included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He is also currently the member of several local art organizations with pieces showing in several galleries. Michael's primary media is pencil, pen/ink and acrylic painting.
